A reception of dinner and dancing followed. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Brown of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. J. Francis Brown of Amarillo, Texas. The groom is the son of Joan Allen Easley and Dr. Ronald Byron Easley of Durham, N.C.

    What happens when there’s a bubble within a bubble? One of them bursts. At Tuesday night’s University Park City Council meeting, residents were foaming over a proposal that would change a small tract — eight houses total in the 3400 block of Westminster Avenue — from multifamily to duplex zoning. The council voted 4 to 1 in favor of the zoning change.
